UNDOCUMENTED RIDERS – JOHN , SCOTT
LOOP ~ 35 MILES
NAME SAKE (SEE ROADIE )
TUESDAY MORNING WE AWOKE TO AN ICE FOG. FORECAST WAS FOR IT TO BURN OFF BY 11AM.
SCOTT CALLED AND SAID HE STILL NEEDED HIS OFF ROAD STICKER AND GAS, SO I HEADED OVER A BIT EARLY. WE STOPPED AT MOTOTECH THEN THE CHEVRON FOR FUEL. AS WE HEADED DOWN I-84 WE HAD A BRIEF THOUGHT OF ALL THOSE FOLKS STILL AT MICRON. WE LOST THE SUN AS WE PASSED THE STAGE STOP.
ON SIMCO IT GOT WORSE. THE FOG CLOSED IN AND THERE WERE STANDS OF WATER ALL THRU THE DESERT, BUT AS WE DROPPED INTO GRANDVIEW THE SUN CAME OUT.
ON THE WAY TO DEAD COW IT WAS OBVIOUS THE FIELDS WERE MUCH DRIER DOWN IN THE VALLEY. MISSILE BASE ROAD WAS DRY AND DUSTY.
WHEN WE PULLED INTO DEAD COW THE SUN WAS OUT AND THERE WAS A SLIGHT BREEZE.
WATER PUMP
DROPPING INTO VINSON WASH
