FIRST DIRT BIKE RIDE SINCE THE LAZY BUTT. WOKE UP MONDAY MORNING TO PROMISING CONDITIONS- IT WAS RAINING & FORECASTED TO END ~ 9-10 am. SO EXCITED I LEFT A HALF HOUR EARLY TO PICK UP DAVID. ALONG THE WAY THE PAVEMENT WAS WET , EVEN STANDING PUDDLES UNTIL A FEW MILES PAST FAIRFIELD . AS WE DROVE UP WILLOW CREEK IT WAS OBVIOUS IT HADN’T EVEN SPIT ON WARMSPRINGS.
PARKED AT CHERRY CREEK. TEMP WAS 50’ AND STILL CLOUDY. WE RODE THRU DITTO FLATS AND UP THE “NO TELLUM”
TRAIL.
EVEN TOUGH THERE WASN’T ANY MOISTURE IN THE GROUND IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL DAY. 1ST SMOKE FREE DAY IN 3 MONTHS OR MORE. DECIDED TO RIDE CURRUN GULCH AND THE CONNECTOR TO KINSEY CREEK.

WE RODE MARS RIDGE TO RED WARRIOR THEN WARFIELD. TO OUR SURPRISE WARFIELD HAS BEEN REROUTED , RED CARPET TREATMENT.

END OF A GREAT DAY – NO BREAK DOWNS , NO INJURIES , NO ONE LOST AND NO RELIGIOUS CONVERSIONS !
