OBAMASTAN,WE’RE NOT HAPPY TILL YOUR NOT HAPPY - MURPHY 4/17/11

Capture

LOOP – 44 MILES

DAVID AND I DECIDED TO RIDE MURPHY HOPING WE COULD MEET UP WITH MURRAY AND KAT.

NO SIGN OF MURRAY AND KAT WHEN WE TOOK OFF.

THE BLM HAVE BEEN BUSY BEAVERS TRYING TO BLOCK AND TEAR UP TRAILS. THEY EVEN PLOWED UP WASHES AND TRIALS THAT HAVE BEEN THERE FOR YEARS. AT LEAST WE DIDN’T GET GATE RAPED ( ENHANCED PAT DOWN) BEFORE THE RIDE.

CREEKS WERE HIGH SO WE DIDN’T TRY SINKER. WHEN WE GOT ABOVE DIAMOND BASIN WE DECIDED IT WAS TOO MUDDY FROM THE RAINS TO HAVE FUN ON THE SINGLE TRACKS THAT RUN UP THE HILLS.

RIDERS – DAVID, JOHN

LOOP – 50 MILES

DECIDED ON SHORT DRIVE AND RIDE IN MURPHY. AS WE DROVE TO THE BIG SANDWASH, WATER WAS FLOWING FROM THE WEST FORK OF RABBIT CREEK. A COUPLE OF BLM TRUCKS WITH TRAILERS WERE PARKED THERE. WE COULD HEAR THEM WORKING CATS UP THE WASH.

HAD TO RIDE THE SLOT AGAIN BUT SINKER WAS RUNING TOO HIGH TO RIDE , AT LEAST FOR US.
