I set the KTM up with ice screws . Hauled it and the TE250 ( w/o screws ).

I hadn’t ridden the KTM in over a year maybe two years. It felt kind of ratty in the parking lot.
At 2800 feet the ground was frozen but no snow. I decided to ride the Berg.

The snow was ~ 3-4 inches , powered and no tracks.
Deep enough you couldn’t see the ruts , rocks ………
Traction was ok but I sat and putted in 1st gear through most of it.

David wanted to ride the side hill single track above Diamond Basin.
I talked him into dropping into the sand washes .

We followed a few hundred yards of road by the corrals.
I went down hard, body slammed my right side.
One of those where you have to collect yourself to make sure your OK.
I stung my head/helmet  but didn’t ring my bell.
Made me more cautious and timid the rest of the ride.
