LOOP ~ 60 MILES

RIDERS – DAVID , JOHN

RODE IN HOLE IN THE WALL.

THERE IS A NEW BEAVER POND THIS YEAR ON THOMPSON CREEK THAT HAS BACKED UP OVER THE ROAD. AS WE RODE UP TO IT WE PASSED MAN & SON ON AN ATV. BEING OLDER AND WISER WE DECIDED TO WATCH THE ATV CROSS THE WATER HOLE. GOOD CALL THE WATER WAS UP TO THE SEAT ON THE ATV. WE DECIDED TO GO UP STREAM TO FIND A NARROW AND SHALLOW CROSSING.

DAVID WENT FIRST AND GOT STUCK IN THE MUD. I WADED ACROSS AND HELP PULL THE BIKE OUT. I WAS WORRIED ABOUT SINKING TO MY KNEES AND LOOSING A BOOT. A FEW YARDS UP STREAM WE FOUND A ROCKY BOTTOM FOR ME TO CROSS. IT HAD A FIRM BOTTOM BUT ENTRY BANK WAS SQUARE AND THE EXIT WAS STEEP. DAVID HAD TO HELP ME UP.

WE STOPPED FOR LUNCH AT COYOTE * BREMNER .

A GROUP OF 6 RIDERS ROLLED UP. THEY WERE A CREW FROM ROCKY MOUNTAIN ATV & MOTORCYCLE FROM PAYSON, UTAH.   DAVID GAVE THEM HELP WITH DIRECTIONS, BUT THEY WERE MORE IMPRESSED WITH MY TRAIL BEER.

THEY SAID ROCKY MOUNTAIN WAS IN THE PROCESS OF BUYING A KTM DEALERSHIP IN ST GEORGE . WHE THEY CLOSE THE DEAL THEY WILL BE ABLE TO SALE KTM OEM PARTS !
